"Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems," Robin Williams used to say.

Therefore, it is tragic to hear his passing due to suicide earlier today. He’s such a wonderful actor, inspiring comedian, and amazing man. I love his movies. “Jumanji” paints my childhood, “Patch Adams” inspires my dream, “Mrs Doubtfire” tells me the importance of a family.

Coincidentally, today (12th of August) is also the 60th birthday of my favourite musician Pat Metheny. I remember Metheny used to play a soundtrack for Robin Williams’ lesser-known movie “Toys”. A fantastic musical composition, also written by legendary Hans Zimmer.

We never understand life, no matter what. Today is present and we have to treasure each second of it. The same applies to Robin Williams. We should celebrate his unique character.

Rest in peace, Robin. Let joy and innocence prevail!
